This is the first of its kind in Europe. The Jewish community have long since had an alternative system of dispute resolution which has allowed potential litigants to resolve their issues under Jewish Law.
The Hajveri Foundation recognises that Islamic Law also has an effective and efficient mechanism for dispute resolution. As long as potential litigants want to have their matters adjudicated upon under Islamic Law, there is no reason why they cannot turn to the Islamic Court of Justice and perhaps save on costs, stress and further animosity.
